About our Flight School
Flight training courses are taken at Five Star Flight Academy, a division of Five Star Flight, Inc. Five Star Flight Academy is an
FAA certified Part 141 and Part 61 flight school conveniently located at Westfield-Barnes Airport, Westfield, Massachusetts. As an
FAA certified Part 141 training facility we offer Private, Commercial and Instrument courses as well as Flight Instructor, Multi engine
training and ATP.

Who's Who:
Chief Flight Instructor Stephen Hayden (right) is an Airline Transport Pilot employed with DHL Worldwide Express. As First Officer Steve flies
an Airbus A-300 which has a max gross take-off weight of over 360,000 lbs. Steve holds over 16,000 hours of flight time in everything
from ultra lights, helicopters and seaplanes to turbo props and heavy jets. He's even managed to get a little aerobat time in a Super
Decathalon.
Partner and Assistant Chief Flight Instructor Michael Foy (left) is a prominent attorney in Springfield, MA. Mike also teaches Aviation Law
and History at Westfield State College. Mike has been flying for over 30 years. He is Multi-engine rated, and holds ratings as a
Commercial Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor.

From Points East and West:
Take Interstate 90 (Mass Pike) to Exit 3. Once off the Mass Pike you'll take a left at your first light onto RT 10 & 202. Follow
for approximately 1.5 miles. Turn right on Airport Road. Five Star Flight Academy is located at the Five Star Jet Center.
From Points North and South:
Interstate 91 to Exit 14 (Mass Pike). Take the Mass Pike West to Exit 3 (Westfield). Once off the Mass Pike you'll take a left at
your first light onto RT 10 & 202. Follow for approximately 1.5 miles. Turn right on Airport Road. Five Star Flight Academy is
located at the Five Star Jet Center.
